PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION FEE
Your photography session fee covers all of the steps below from the design consultation, professional hair and makeup styling, the photoshoot and the viewing session. Prices start from $300.
These are the four steps to receiving beautiful, natural, relaxed photos of you when you book in a portrait photoshoot with me.
The first step – How do you dream of being photographed?
Your experience begins with getting in touch to chat about what you are looking for. We will get together for a design session where we will discuss who is going to be photographed (if more than 1 person), what styles of photography you are interested in (eg vanity fair, formal, casual etc) and where you will display your wall art. You will be required to send a photo of the space(s) you are considering displaying your portraits before the photo session is to take place. This way I can show you exactly what your portraits will look like in your home.
Based on what you decide, I will advise you what you need to do to prepare for your shoot and what to bring along on the day. Your photos are captured in my studio, using a choice of background colours. Photos on location are also available at an additional charge of $150. We will arrange times, talk through location options and discuss clothing choices.
If you are bringing someone else along to the photoshoot, it would be great to invite them to the design session so they too are up to speed on what to expect, what to bring etc. I will also ask some questions about how you know each other and what your relationship or friendship is. This will help me get the best moments from everyone on the day of the photoshoot.
You will need to allow 30-45 mins for this catch-up. You will have the opportunity to view display products for your finished images. Usually we will meet in person, but zoom/skype on-line chats are also available if required.

The second step - The Photo Session
Photo sessions are available on Weekends from 10am until last sessions at 4pm. Sessions are by appointment only. Other days may be available on request.
The sitting takes approx. 3 hours which includes professional hairstyling and makeup, and can include up to 5 outfits and/or backdrops to create different looks. I will spend time creating an array of photos based on what we discussed in the first step. For example, if we are photographing you and your best friend, I will take the time to create some portraits of the two of you, and then focus on each of you individually. Leaving you with a beautiful range of portraits to tell the story of your friendship.
You can share this experience with your best friends and make it a girls day out. Share it with your sister and give the photos to your Mum. Or better yet, invite Mum along and have a generations photo. Those images are priceless to your family.
I offer a laid back, relaxed atmosphere for you and we will have a lot of fun and create a variety of images to ensure I get the images that capture your personality. You have another chance to view display products for your finished images at your session and we also book your viewing session.
The third step – Viewing/Ordering
All of the images in your order will be expertly colour-corrected, cropped and retouched by hand to ensure you look your very best.
2-3 weeks later we will meet for your viewing session. This will be the first time to see and the time to order your portraits. It is here that the magic happens. We will start with you choosing the ones you love and your favourite images.
From there we will begin to design a package that meets your needs, providing you with gorgeous wall art and original pieces to be treasured for a lifetime. Allow 1.5 hours for finalising your choice.
The fourth step - Finished Photos
Your finished artwork will be available to collect 4-6 weeks after your viewing appointment. You then get to proudly display your gorgeous photos in your own home. A digital copy of each photo purchased will also be included on USB.
