I love the process of creating fine art landscape photography. I am a Brisbane based Photographer and have always travelled regularly to Coolangatta on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, where I fell in love with the beach. When I first learnt photography, I would bring my camera down and capture the movement of the water, the beautiful clear colours of the ocean, reflections in the water on the sand, the stunning sunsets and the way the light danced on and over the waves.

I have an underwater camera and also recently purchased a drone which I love as much as any of my other cameras. So I can capture images on land, in the sea and in the air! It is interesting to explore other angles and views than just standing on the ground can produce. My love of photography started with the ocean but has evolved over the years to include many other natural landscapes and wildlife my travels have taken me to. Choosing the right photograph to print

I am inspired the most to produce images that truly speak to my soul. I don’t believe in over processing an image but I do adjust for contrast, exposure, cropping and painting with light and dark to highlight the important parts of my image. Black & white sometimes also looks better.

I aim to recreate the image as close to what I saw with my naked eye to transport you to these places and have you experience the raw wonder and beauty of our world. My nature and landscape photography will bring vibrant colour and energy or calm relaxing moods into any home or office and may even let you reminisce about a time you visited the same or a similar location, time of day, reason or season.

Finally there is the excitement of seeing the final result printed. It can be a long time between waiting for the moment, pressing the shutter, editing in Photoshop and then seeing it come to life in print. Fine Art Landscape photographs can look quite different depending on which format is used.
